Is time to return HOME in Day 10

Day 10, Sapporo. Friday.

Right before we return our car in the airport, we rush to the last destination in Sapporo "Sapporo Beer Museum". According to the tour guide, this is one of the good place to visit and beside the museum have a good restaurant for some japnese chicken curry. Unfortunately with the time constraint we can just roughly browse through the museum and bought a pack of ready made japanese chicken curry go back home. (p.s. we cooked it after return to Tokyo, this japanese chicken curry tasted like Malaysia curry without coconut milk!")

The story about how the Sapporo Beer was started.

Once upon the time....

The end of the story

On the way to the airport...

It was firework season in Japan, we bought a pack of firework and it got forfeited in the airport. The kids were so dissapointed and asked "WHY".

Day 9 Takino Park

Day 9, Sapporo. Thurday. Second half.

Afternoon half after the emotional lunch, drove 1hour+ to this Takino park. Then once again, everyone became crazy and lost control. We reached around 3pm. Another 3 hour more for us to hang around here.

When we entered this big dark whole then only we realize it was a giant ant home. What a nice surprise adventure! Very creative and then when read on the booklet, this park is the research forest with lot of experience is going on for the little sceintist. They developed this ant home for kids to experience how the ants live in the underground. And so, they have other insect exhibition and also forest research conducted here for kids to catch the insects in the observe how this little tiny tiny insect grow by season.

Times up! Regreted we didn't spend enough time here. Lastly, we said sayonara with this park by ride down the valcono slide. After I sat down, Ethan shouted at the back "Mummy, we have to wear the safety helmet!" WHAT!!! oh no... too late... I was being frighten all the way down. What a scary volcano slide! This Emmanuel shouted "Hooray"... oh mine!

Then not sure how, suddenly saw this stone men standing there. Later on we found out this was the tomb place...

Back to Sapporo..... Slowly and reluctantly we called it a day.

Day 8 - Fruit picking then heading to Otaru

Day 8, Lake Toya. Wednesday.

It was Cherry blossom season in Hokkaido, before we depart from Lake Toya, we went for fruits picking. 800 yen for adult, kids 400 yen. And then we try our best to eat whatever we can for at least 2000 yen here!

Ethan, Emmanuel so happy to be a one day farmer. Especially Ethan, enjoyed so much and he worked serious to pick the best cherry. Emmanuel just simply pick those place that he was reachable until we got to stop him to do so. After a while, he lost his interest as it was too hot and he said he wanted to sleep. Then he started to do a lot of funny face and fainted in the stroller.

We eat until we dropped. We have eaten the uncountable cherries, worth for 2000 yen. Get a little bit of sun burnt and melt in the sun. Then lost the way out from the cherry farm. Feel so tire but full of fun. Before we exit this big farm, everyone eat another mouth full of cherries. This ended our Lake Toya tour and with the uncountable cherries that can sustain us till the next year April, till the cherry bloom again.

After one tunnel and another tunnel, and another tunnel and

another tunnel and lot of tunnel..... Crossing lot of moutains, up hill down hill, then finally we come to the edge of the moutain and we saw a big dam. Then marked us for the journey and we almost reach Otaru again...

These boys shouted "echo...EEEEECHOOOOO....ECHO.... ECHO!!!!!"
Daddy : "AH! Maybe they will have a beer come out soon... Let's go!"
In a second, everyone run back to the car and shut the door! Scary....

Potato chips that make everyone enjoyed the journey~~~

We drove, we sang, we ate, kids slept. The hardworking Daddy kept up the best performance and brought us back to Otaru.

Sushi dinner and JOB WELL DONE to the Daddy! You have successfully conquered 30% of Hokkaido! Gan-Bai! We proud of you....

Burp~ Nice one. We ask for the bill, the waitress came and she stacked up the plate, then with one swung of her a little tag machinese on the plate from bottom up, she printed us the bill. Then we shouted "WAH......" what a hitech way to count the plate with a machine on hand. After she went off from our table, we quickly turn the plate and check it out how actually this can be done. Behind the plate it stick with a tag for scanning. "ohh.... hitech, hitech and time saving and accuracy!".

Night view of Otaru. Trying to hang around there and reluctant to go back to the hotel.
