Life after...

As much as we can do, we try to get little bit more closer to the natural world. We decided to plant a most easy grow plant for this season - "TOMATO". (298yen, sponsored by Daddy )

Ethan : "I don't like to eat tomato, but I like to see how its grow".

Emmanuel : "Tomato tree will grow taller and taller and taller???" I am wondering how tall this little Emmanuel is imagine.

Mummy : "Plants are living thing, so it needs.... "

Ethan : "Water, food and air"...

Looks like they picking up the idea well huh! Here we go... Let see how fruitful will be this little tree will be.

No watering can, but create one for the purpose of watering. ^^

and then we found something.....

 Ethan : "Errr.... slug", hmmm... I didn't know this call slug. Looks like he knew something that I don't know huh...and then we found another insects. Ethan start to count on the legs to comfirm it having 6 legs. At first we thought this is a caterpillar. Later in the night when we checked out on the internet, it called "Grubworms" which usually emerge during June. It also called "June Bug". Later on it will grow up as an adult insect as "BEETLE". Huh... now I only know that grubworms larva was hiding in the soil for about 9 months before it turn to be a bettle. Amazing!

After Ethan knew this is the larva of beetle, and he regreted to throw this larva into the drain. He always dreams to keep a beetle for his pet. I am thinking, luckily now only we know it is a beetle, else I will be very headache to have this "PET". 

When we are in the public library, we found out one of the insects book explained about the grub worms, we borrowed the books and renewed 2 times. Ethan said we have to keep renew this book again and again....

**************************** 4 weeks later ************************

 Typhoon no4, blew to Japan, crossed over Tokyo on yesterday night ~12am. The rains flew, house was rattling. trees shook and leaves fell. We worry about out tomato plant. This morning we found out it was slanted aside. We were sad as we saw it, the little tree got hurt. While we were checking on it and we found out the little tomato tree has grow a little tiny greeny tomato fruit!!! and it's still hold on the stem tightly without any problem. We never thought this little plant will meet typhoon when we planted it.

Ethan : "Wao! This tomato tree is so strong!"
Mummy : "This little tomato tree know he needs to live on as Ethan and Emmanuel giving it lot of love. Yesterday it was struggling, but its roots trying hard to hold on the ground tightly and to pretect its little baby tomato. Althought it slanted, but it still STRONG! Even the wind can't seperate the long between Ethan, Emmanuel and the Tomato tree!"
Ethan : "Wah! So good hoh!!!"
Emmanuel : "那里？tomato在那里？huh?! 我可以吃了吗？它grow taller and taller hoh!"
