Corn

During Egracia afternoon nap. Emmanuel was the corn and Ethan was the roots of the corn tree. I was the sun and the rains. An acting story about how the corn plants grow. Right away the scene switched to the boys went to supermarket to get a corn for the mother at home to cook the corn soup.

Ethan : “Look at the leaves covered it, it is a parallel vein pattern!” We were learning about the leaves and plant these few days. Looks like Ethan can remembering it well. :-)

Emmanuel can’t wait to tear out the leaves. Ethan laughs at the corn, which have so many leaves to remove.

Ethan : “Aiyooo… 为什么有那么多毛毛的!”

Mummy : “这是它们的胡须，是要保护着这些种子。” I was so serious to explain.

Ethan laughed even more : “ah hahaha..corn 也有胡须ah! 很像Daddy啊！”, Emmanuel didn’t care about what 胡须or没胡须, he continue his business.

One day when these 2 boys get old and older, you will have your 胡须too!
