沖縄岛 (Okinawa)

Without much planning, with 3 days before the departure days, Daddy booked Airasia ticket from Tokyo to Okinawa 沖縄県for the weekend. Kids longing for beach and sands, Daddy and Mummy longing for the happy memory and chances we can be together in this foreign land.

The day after we book the ticket, then only we come to know typhoon blowing strongly from Okinawa toward Tokyo within this few days. And it is raining season for this month. It rains for months. No wonder... the Air ticket was cheaper comparing to the previous months and it is on promotion month! Whatsoever, we are going!

Okinawa Prefecture is locate at the southernmost prefecture of Japan. It consists of hundreds of the Ryukyus Islands in a chain over 1,000 kilometres long. The Ryukyus extend southwest from 九洲 (Kyūshū), which is the southwestern most of Japan's main four islands. And it almost to Taiwan. Or it looks like just near to Taiwan. The weather is warmer than Tokyo. It is nice weather in end of Spring before it too hot for the start of Summer.

Day 1

Depart at Narita Terminal II @ 2:15pm, but flight delayed 50 minutes.

After 3 hours+. Indeed for the 3 hours+ air distance, Korea and Taiwan is nearer from Tokyo.
Arrived at 18:50pm: reach Okinawa Naha airport, the capital of Okinawa.

Dinner at international dori for 沖縄料理

Rain, rain go away, Come again another day.
We want go to beach, rain, rain go away!
Daddy, the travel agent drafted a travel plan. Here we go for free and easy. We simply hook on to the restaurant. We simply turn in and stop by on the beach should it be the traffic jam in front of us or if we went for the wrong way. We simply stop by the seaside for sunset.
We pray for a safe journey!

Day 2 - "Go under the water, go up to the mountain top, and to the beach again"
