Roppongi Robot Park, Daddy working place

Ethan always said "Daddy's office is so good, it has a robot park for them...". Kids always ask to visit Daddy in his office, because it has a long slide for them to ride on. We found out quite a number of beautiful playground with its own unique design and park in Japan for the young kids to hang around. Most of the facilities are quite well maintain. For this so called Robot park (Sakurazaka Park) consists of a huge stack of colorful robots that serves as a landmark, a row of multicolored slides for kids and the boys favorite - a very looooong slide. For this weekend, we follow Daddy to his working place not to work, but ride on the slide. 

Ethan : "Roppongi is Daddy's workplace lor... "

Emmanuel : "Daddy's office have tall tall building..."

Ethan : "Daddy's office also have robot park."

Emmanuel : "So Daddy can plays on the slide lor!"

Ethan : "Go work work and go playground everyday ..."

Emmanuel : "Funny!!!"

Daddy's office = Playground.

Daddy go to work = Daddy go playground too!

A dream place to work on....

Kamakura, 鎌倉

Kamakura is a small city, sometimes called as little Kyoto of at Tokyo. About 45 minutes drive from home. Daddy rented a car and drove us there. There are numerous temples, shrines and other historical monuments and a sand beaches here... For the long weekend over the new year, we spent a day trip here... hanging around and hunt for the food on walking stress. Kids like the Takoyaki and korokke (croquette) with meat, black sesame, red bean favors. We walked in the temple and Shrine. There have no Statue in the Shrine, but the pray gate. To me it looks like place for people to do the meditation. Then to a big temple "Great Buddha of Kamakura (Daibutsu). Surprisingly, it needs entrance fees 400yen for adult and half price for kids.

你我的雪景

冰天雪地，很好的题材。为家里的小朋友们描述了一番美丽的景色。白白的雪，厚厚的遮盖了每个地方，久久还没溶解。说着说着，自我陶醉在这宁静美丽的白茫茫景色中。画了幅眼前看见的雪景。。。

小朋友，你们能不能也画个你们的雪景？

很快他们拿起笔，开始他们丰富的想象力。。。

Ethan : "这是我们家后面的taxi station。。。全部的taxi都stuck了。。。big snow cover the tops! A lot of taxi can not move.... the snow fall down from the rooftop, and hits the car!"

Emmanuel : "Mummy, 我要画car，racing car不能racing，因为全部是snow。。。我也是要draw taxi。你看taxi不能go了。。。"

终于，Ethan说 : "This is the last leaf on the tree. Its turns yellowish, it going to fall down...."

这因该是描述冬天的味道，树叶都掉光了。剩下这最后的一片。。。慢慢的也将掉落了在这片白茫茫雪床上。

之后，他们把雪厚厚的贴在所有的车上。。。满车顶的雪，车辆不能开动，人不能的行走。原来这是他们的想象的雪景，和老师想象的有点不同。。。要如何为他们的作品打分？

大雪之后，带来了很多不便。这位老公公却愿意把这条路的雪扫干净。。。孩子们也把这事看在眼里。

The Tick-Tack sound that bring the Time away

For the beginning of the year, we thought of learning somethings that important for us to live for each day. The smallest unit to count for the day and go for the years ahead.. This Tick-Tack sound that bring something into our life and also taking away the time from us.

We start our story with the following, and drawing a big cycle....

Mummy : "Can anyone tells me, what is this story about?"

Ethan : "CLOCK!"

Ethan always like the funny sound. He likes to talk and hear those gibberish sound... He is very interested with each of the sound made. 

Mummy : "So what those the Trinnnnng sound means?

Ethan : "is Three!"

Mummy : "What about the Siiiiiiiiing?

Ethan : "is Six"

Ethan : "I know this is Nine and Twelve!"

It seems the sound effect bring the effect! These 2 boys learning seems to me, they can't go with those kind of sit still learning. Is better they can jump, they can make fun with it, the best is they could bring in the ultra ma- and transformers together in their learning books. Sometime I feel it kind of contradict to what are in my mind to teach them, but without fun in learning, that can be very bore for these 2 little boys. 

Choose the easier banana cake that can form the shape nicely. Not the soft and fluffy type of cake, but a sweet and more firming surface for them to draw. The only different of the cake method is to melt the butter and the sugar together, just beat the egg in once. Mix in all the ingredients and ready to bake. 

I always like to see the little fingers of them.... fat, tiny one...

Mummy : "Dear boys, lets write the 3, 6, 9, 12... to form the quarter. Then fills in the rest of the number..."

Ethan : "Mummy, I can't wait anymore, can I eat now???"

Mummy : "Just a little bit more...."

Ethan : "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... I want to eat a quarter of cake!"

Mummy : "So means you going to eat 15 minutes?!"

Emmanuel : "I just want to eat 5 minutes!"

Ethan : "No... u eat 1 minute!"

Emmanuel : "Mummy, gogo doesn't want to give me eat 5 minutes!"

Mummy : "ok, I will take away his time!"

Ethan : "sorry... sorry....I just kidding!"

And so Ethan ate 45 minutes altogether. Emmanuel ate 5 minutes and I ate a quarter of 15 minutes.
