It had been rained for the past few days. Everyone at home was sick, down with sore throat, flu and coughing. Finally a sunny morning, I quickly bring Ethan to complete the mission he long to do so – Post a Letter to his friend that he miss so much. Before we go out for post office, we picked up few Japanese words to make sure we can post the letter. To manage Ethan’s expectation, we talk about the possible step will happen in the post office. Queue up, weight the letter, buy stamps, paste the stamps, and drop the letter in the RED POST BOX! Here we go. Ethan holding his letter leaped and skipped to the post office.
Ethan : “Konichiwa”
Mummy : “Malaysiaへの投稿 (Malaysia heno-togo)” – (translated by google translate! ^^)
Officer first measured the envelope and then weighted the letter, she said “160 (hiyaku-roku-ju Yen).
Ethan passed his the money, and he waited there for few seconds. The officer gave her a smile and said something that we couldn’t understand… and we wait again. Finally we found out, she already done the posting, we can go home already. ><”
Ethan : “Where is my letter? Where is the stamp? I want to put in the post box!!!” Hmm… something out of our expectation…. Ethan full of doubt….
And now we waiting the letter drift to the recipient safely.
Out of sudden while we were having our meal. Ethan said “Even I post the letter, I still can’t see Tze Herng ah… I miss him, I want to play together not just write letter.”
I could understand the missing feeling is always that bitter and difficult to endure. I hope Ethan and Tze Herng will grow up to be a nice man that God loved. I pray and wish they will know the creator of the universal and live in HIS words daily. His protection and wisdom be with them. Friendship forever….
At the other corner on the earth. Coincidently we got an email from the other side with the photos attached; they brought Tze Herng to post office too on last Saturday. ^^ We are wondering what had happened over there...
Sze Sze, it takes a lot of effort for you, bringing out all the kids, to post this letter. Thanks for the effort and thoughts...I am very touched, especially when reading this page. Thanks for everything...
